Christmas Season at St. Paul’s Cathedral

The Choirs had a very busy Christmas Season this year. Highlights included Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols, and a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. The choirs sang a Mozart Mass setting on Christmas Eve, accompanied by string trio (Ansgar Aylward, Robert Prokes, and Robert Hausmann). On December 10 the choirs performed Handel’s Messiah, accompanied by Baroque orchestra. Soloists were Ellen Hargis, soprano, Raymond Chenez countertenor, Matthew Anderson, tenor, and Aaron Engebreth, baritone. Stay tuned for more exciting updates in the new year.
