Andrew Niederhauser began singing when he was in 2nd grade. His music teacher urged his parents to bring him to St. Paul’s Cathedral to sing in the Saint Paul’s Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys, where he sang with the choir until he graduated from Hamburg High School. In 2004 he graduated from SUNY at Fredonia with a BS in Education, and then continued his schooling at SUNY at Buffalo where he received his Master’s degree in Literacy. For the past four years Andy has been a first grade teacher for the Lancaster Central Schools. While teaching he has continued his singing career as a member of Vocalis, the local a cappella chamber vocal group that is directed by Jamie Burritt, himself a former chorister at St. Paul’s Cathedral (and currently a member of the Men’s Choir). Andrew married Danielle Dell’Accio at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, August 6th, 2010.
