Catherine Daniels sang in the Girls’ Choir from 1975-1987. She sang with Schola in 1998. Catherine attended Turner/Carroll High School, Villa Maria College and UB. She obtained a license in the field of Cosmetology which became a lucrative business venture for 25 years until she recently retired due to health issues.
Catherine lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her son, Lamar, and her husband. She is working as an office assistant, is PTA president for her son‘s, school and sits on the Board of Trustees for a scholarship organization, Project GRAD Cincinnati. She is co-chair of the Parent Association of the YMCA Black and Hispanic Achievers.
As a member of the Girls’ Choir, Catherine best remembers the Ohio tour. She and her family have touched base with Church of the Redeemer where the choir sang. She states that it was all so surreal to walk back into the church and remember the visit as a youth. Catherine feels that she has now come “full circle”.
